Zan Zi Bar is North London’s Premier Punjabi and North Indian Restaurant and Bar with a following which has been unrivalled since its opening in 2001.
Zan Zi Bar’s food is defined by robust and authentic cooking, expertly rendered by head chef Jai, who has worked in some of India’s most distinguished establishments, including the Taj group of hotels.
There are no cutting corners here. Our ingredients are fresh, the flavours enticing and service, which is highly efficient and extremely friendly.
Zan Zi Bar prides itself in a menu that is impressive yet earthy from the outset. Whether it’s snacks such as Spicy Peanuts or Mogo Chips to tender Tandoori items such as the succulent, on-the-bone Kebabs, which are in a class of their own and made with tantalizing marinades. Our main courses are also exciting with dishes including the delicious Asli Chicken Curry, a highly flavoursome Masala Lamb, or an aromatic Methi Keema.
Our vegetarian dishes are also un-missable with such well-loved favourites as Sarson da Saag, Punjabi Kadhi and Corn Masala, while the rice and the beautifully made fresh-breads are also notable.
The a la carte menu is handsomely complimented by the monthly Chef’s Specials Menu, offering dishes with just the right hint of tradition and imagination.

It is a very lively place with a great family atmosphere.We offer relaxing and welcoming surroundings in which to dine or just have drinks with friends and family.
